Direct Transact Open Bank is a platform that provide Entities that require banking capabilities with the ability to create their own banking and financial products via an Open Banking platform. Connection to the Direct Transact Open Bank platform is established through API, the full list of API and functionality can be viewed here

Sandbox

  • Our Sandbox allows you to test and integrate the API in a non-Production environment and is not connected to external Production environments

  • Our Registration process is simple and free with no usage restrictions

  • The environment works the same as the SandboxProd and Production environments.

SandboxProd

  • SandboxProd allows you to test the API with real currency and is connected to external Production environments

  • Our Registration process is simple and free with the following usage restrictions:

    - Three Entity users

    - Three accounts

    - Maximum single Transaction amount of R100 or €5

    - Maximum of 20 transactions with aggregated transaction value of R400 or €20

Feature 3

Production

  • The Production environment offers full access to global banking.

  • The environment offers full DT Open Bank functionality and access is dependent on your Entity needs and agreement

  • 2 weeks are required to complete the registration and onboarding process with DT Open Bank.

  • Limits are based on our Sponsoring Bank’s risk Policies
